Here is what's going to happen. Because of the rain and the early meeting time we will be getting together at the STARBUCKS (mmm coffee) on University and Memorial Parkway. It is in the same shopping center as Books-a-Million but it will actually be open at 8:00! Or at least I hope so! The Peanut and I will be there and I will be Knitting In PUBLIC!! See you there!

Anyone who is looking for info about WWKIP day we are still meeting at Big Spring Park on Saturday. I will be there with the Peanut, if it rains we will meet at the Books-A-Million on University and the Parkway.

So I've decided to stop trying to create these extensive posts, and instead just write something when I want to share something. This may mean that this blog will have less knitting and more random sharing. Who knows.

First of all... I got into some pre-pregnancy jeans the other day! YAY! I've been feeling better about the trainer and I've been staying on track with WW so hopefully I will be seeing even more results soon!

For anyone who is visiting me for info on WWKIP Day there is still no official alternate meeting place if it rains. Since I have no idea how many people are planning on showing up I don't know how much space we may need. I was thinking we could descend upon either Starbucks off of University and the Parkway or the Borders at the same intersection. Any thoughts? I also just learned that there will be a Gay Pride event at Big Spring Park on the same day. This whole event may be more difficult than I initially planned! I'm kind of glad I scheduled it for 8:00 we may need to get there that early just for parking!

So life has been busy. After my Grandmother's funeral we flew to Minnesota (Peanut's first flight!) for my nephew's first communion. It was a lot of fun, however there were some unfortunate photo's of my post baby body. So I decided it is time to get serious about losing the baby weight. I now have a trainer and the Brain and I joined Weight Watchers. It's not fun but it works. I've been going to the gym for about a month now and I feel better and stronger, I've just been eating too much and too many wrong things. So this is where the WW comes in.
On the knitting front I've also been really busy. I finished my Icarus shawl that took twice as much yarn as I thought it would (oops!). Then I started a Swallowtail shawl to wear for my best friends wedding, I got to the nupps and I put that sucker DOWN! I just couldn't handle it for right now, so what did I do. I cast on to a sweater! I had been infatuated with sweaterbabe's Lush and Lacey so when my LYS had it's semi annual sale I stocked up on sweater yarn. I got enough comfort for 2 sweaters, some Barrufa Sei for a Matilda Jane, some Naturlin for summer top, and some Louet Gems for some mittens. I cast on for the last sleeve today and after I finish the Lush and Lacey I will finish my swallowtail shawl hopefully I will have pictures of everything soon.
The Peanut is growing up fast. He is able to hold his head up for a long time when he is on his tummy. He is also sleeping through the night. We are working on sitting up by ourselves.
